Wang Jiunn received his Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics) and Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University.
Prior to joining SOTA, Wang Jiunn taught Chemistry at Catholic High School from 1999 to 2006. Apart from his vast experience in teaching graduating classes, he is also highly proficient in infocomm technologies and new media. He spearheaded the programme in digital video production for students in 2000 and the setting up of a professional recording studio in the school. In 2004, Catholic High School awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award (Individual) to Wang Jiunn in recognition of his personal contribution to the school.
Wang Jiunn has also been invited by Apple Computer to share his experiences in the use of Macintosh in schools and is currently nominated as an Apple Distinguished Educator, a programme which recognises educators who integrate technology into their learning environments in meaningful ways.
