Huey Miin earned her Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from the National University of Singapore. Wanting to enrich her pedagogical and Mathematical knowledge, she enrolled in the Nanyang Technological University and attained her Master of Education (Mathematics) in 2008.
Prior to joining SOTA, Huey Miin taught Mathematics at Raffles Girls’ School (Secondary) and was the teacher-in-charge of the school’s symphonic band. She has organised Mathematics outdoor learning activities such as the Mathematics Trail at the Esplanade where students apply math knowledge to solve real life scenarios. In addition, she has organised several concerts for the RGS symphonic band.
Always intrigued by the elegance and beauty in Mathematics, Huey Miin hopes to share her mathematical knowledge and make learning Mathematics more enjoyable for SOTA students.
