Natalie started her dance training at the Donna Halloran School of Dance in Sydney, Australia. She then attended the National Theatre Ballet School for full time dance studies before being accepted into the prestigious Australian Ballet School.
 
Upon graduating with a diploma in dance, Natalie began her professional career in 1994 as a full member of Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT). In 1999, she was awarded the 5th prize in the Seventh Asia Pacific Ballet Competition in Tokyo, Japan. In 2001, Natalie spent two and a half years performing with the West Australian Ballet before returning to SDT in 2004.
 
Over her career, Natalie has danced nearly all the principal roles of the classics such as Swan Lake, Giselle, La Sylphide, Nutcracker and Raymonda. She has also performed the lead roles of Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena, Ted Brandsen’s Pulcinella, Jeffrey Tan’s The Little Mermaid, and Askhat Galiamov’s La Corsaire and featured roles such as Fairy God Mother and Step Sister in Graham Lustig’s Cinderella, Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty, George Balanchine’s Who Cares, and Richard Wherlock’s Stetl, to name a few.
 
Natalie has also had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers Ohad Naharin, Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Sakiko Oshima, and David Dawson and has danced pieces by Jiri Kylian and Jorma Elo.
 
Natalie has taught adult ballet classes for SDT and also taught at the Singapore Ballet Academy.
