
Eric Lau has an MA and BA (Honours) in Philosophy from the National University of Singapore. He taught at Raffles Girls’ School (Secondary) and was instrumental in crafting the Raffles Philosophy Course. At NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, he was tasked to design and coordinate several modules, including one on Knowledge and Inquiry.
Eric has also published a textbook on Knowledge and Inquiry, and was invited by the National Institute of Education (NIE) to give talks to NIE trainee teachers and foreign delegates, and to contribute to publications like Philosophical Reflections for Educators and Engaging Films and Music Videos in Critical Thinking.
Eric believes that ideas have consequences and students should be made aware of them.
