Ceramist Jessie Lim has exhibited her works in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Sweden and Thailand, in both solo and group exhibitions. Between 1983 and 1991, she obtained her training in pottery from Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, as well as from the Rhode Island School of Design and the Anderson Ranch Arts Centre, Colorado, USA.
A qualified teacher, Jessie has taught pottery for about 20 years. Prior to that, she taught English Literature at Junior College level from 1980 to 1982 and from 1984 to 1986. She received her undergraduate education in English Literature from 1973 to 1976 at the University of Singapore.
Jessie’s highly acclaimed works are sought after by private collectors and museums internationally. Her works can be found in private collections in USA and China. They are also displayed in the Singapore Art Museum.
