
The School of the Arts (SOTA) is set up by the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts. SOTA is Singapore’s first national pre-tertiary specialised arts school. For youths aged 13 - 18 who have an interest and talent in the visual and performing arts, SOTA offers a dedicated development path, providing them with a new teaching and learning environment where both their artistic and academic potential can best be realised.

Workshop Manager, Visual Arts (Contract)
Job requirements:
- You will provide assistance and support to the Visual Arts Faculty in the daily operations and other required school-related activities when required
- You will be responsible to ensure that the working conditions in the studios and workshops are clean, tidy, healthy and safe
- You will assist in preparation of materials, apparatus and equipment for ceramic and arts lessons.
- You will be responsible to conduct regular checks and maintenance on tools, equipments and machinery, and to ensure that first aid boxes are suitably equipped and maintained
- You will also be responsible to conduct inventory stock-take, source, procure and replenish stock when necessary
Applicants should have:
- Diploma in Arts-related studio discipline or equivalent
- Certified training in the operations of basic Ceramic and Sculpture tools and equipment is an advantage
- Experience in the operations of basic Ceramic and Sculpture tools and equipments
- The ability to work independently, pro-actively and as a team player.
