The School of the Arts (SOTA) is set up by the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts. SOTA is Singapore’s first national pre-tertiary specialised arts school. For youths aged 13 - 18 who have an interest and talent in the visual and performing arts, SOTA offers a dedicated development path, providing them with a new teaching and learning environment where both their artistic and academic potential can best be realised.

Venue Technician – Casuals
Job requirements:
- Execute the technical requirements of each production in the areas of staging, lighting, sound and video
- Ensure that all stages, backstage and production areas as well as the equipment are kept tidy, safe and secure
- Assist and conduct testing and preventive maintenance to all technical equipment in all the venues under the supervision of the full time technicians
Applicants should:
- Possess at least 3 years of hands on experience in theatre technical knowledge or at least event related knowledge and skills
- Possess good knowledge in at least one of the following:
theatre carpentry, fly system, sound, visual media or lighting system
- Be a good team player and is able to work in fast environment
