Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) is the Asian edition of the enormously successful international Carrera Cup, which supports several rounds of the F1 World Championship. The 2011 season of the PCCA will be back in Singapore. SC Global Developments is the proud Official Title Sponsor of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Singapore Leg.

SOTA students are given an excellent opportunity to showcase their potential and talent in collaboration with SC Global Developments to design the livery for a Porsche car, to be displayed in conjunction with the promotion of the Porsche SC Global Carrera Cup Asia.

The excitement of having SOTA represented in the design of the Porsche SC Global Carrera Cup Asia Art Car Project bubbles through the entire school and faculties. The excellent provision to include the brightest talents from SOTA offers new boundaries of experimentation, expression and discovery. A collaborative project, which SOTA is proud to be associated with that, brings a unique education anchored in the arts.

An actual Porsche GT3 cup car bearing the winning design was unveiled on Friday 9th September 2011 at SOTA campus, along with an exhibition of the work by the top 5 finalists. The work of the top three winners will be promoted by SC Global within regional media and communication materials as part of the pre-race activities for the Porsche SC Global Carrera Cup Asia – Singapore 2011.
